As a behavioral change organization, we are made to bring youth closer to God by reading weekly the word of God and meditating on it all the time so that it may become a revelation, because this is only the best way we can deal with our children bad behavior all over the world.
We give good advice to young people, we teach them empathy, humility, humbleness, wisdom, respect to each other and generosity. Sometimes we support them financially, and we give schools uniforms to those who need them, we support migrants from different backgrounds to get their first accommodation in Australia and overseas to our partners. We provide cases workers to new arrived families, we refer sick people to the appropriate service, we care about aged people, homeless, jobless and orphans accordingly.
At Youth Agency for Community Resilient-YACR, we are also driven by another big vision of empowered communities and transformed lives. Our mission also is to create lasting positive change by promoting youth resilience, promoting youth leadership for sustainable development change, promoting the wellbeing of youth and children in Australia and all over the world, promoting youth platform media, fighting against climate change, bringing youth closer to God by increasing their faith through weekly reading bible hours, sharing youth cultural background, increasing the digital literacy and computer proficiency for some of Australian young people and to young people from African countries post conflict.
Our journey began with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by communities recovering from Covid-19 pandemic and striving for a better future. We recognized that in an increasingly interconnected world, access to digital education and technology is a powerful tool for unlocking opportunities and driving progress.
Our focus centred on behaviour changing and life changing in Australia and in African countries (where the impact of conflict has left a lasting mark on educational and economic opportunities). We believe that resilience and education are a cornerstone of development, and that digital literacy is a gateway to empowerment. Through our initiatives, we aim to bridge the resilience, bible reading, and digital divide and provide young people with the skills and resources they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Our current primary project is called the Transcend project. The Transcend project seeks to increase computer literacy, bible reading and enhance learning outcomes amongst high school seniors and university students in Congo DRC, Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania, Nigeria, Benin Republic, Zimbabwe, South Africa and South Soudan by establishing fully functional After school computer labs and bible study for targeted places in different suburbs and cities. Each computer lab is set up within the existing infrastructure of the targeted places and includes up to ten computers, a projector, desk/chairs, and whiteboard and is completely solar powered depending on the area. YACR runs the lab and Bible reading collaboratively with the schools for the first year to ensure familiarization with standards and systems before fully turning over to the After school computer lab and bible study.
Our approach is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and community engagement. We work hand-in-hand with local partners, schools, educators, churches and passionate individuals who share our commitment to making a difference. Together, we design and implement programs that not only enhance digital skills, Bible reading but also inspire confidence, creativity, and critical thinking.
As an organization, we are dedicated to transparency, accountability, and impact. We measure success not only by the number of computers installed or labs renovated but by the stories of transformed lives through bible reading and the tangible impact our initiatives have on communities.
Join us on this journey of empowerment, where Bible reading and technology becomes a bridge to brighter futures. Together, we are Youth Agency for Community Resilient-YACR a catalyst for change, a beacon of hope, and a driving force behind the transformation
